Skating with Dave

Dave Coulier, voice of Pete Venkman on the later episodes of The Real Ghostbusters, is one of the 6 famous faces competing on Fox’s Skating with Celebrities. It’s like Battle of the Network Stars or Circus of the Stars all over again.

The concept isn’t a big leap – Dave’s an avid hockey player, so we know the guy can skate. I just never thought they’d make it into a show by pairing him up with Nancy Kerrigan.

The show is about to finish it’s run, I guess. I just found out about it. Go for gold, Dave!

[UPDATE] They have video clips on the website, for those of you not inclined to check out the show.

I’ve seen this movie

What is at first reminicient of Ghostbusters 2 (the article even uses the phrase, “Slimer-like ooze”) this reminds me more of 1997’s Volcano. Run for the hills!

What makes it of particular interest to GB fans is that this is happening in the vicinity of the Engine 23 fire hall, where the interior shots of Ghostbusters were done. And by vicinity I mean practically right around the corner.

GB Midnight movie in Kentucky

This past weekend The Kentucky Theater in Lexington showed Ghostbusters as a midnight movie. Adam Varney gathered the gang and attended in style. While Adam wouldn’t be the first guy to attend the movie in his GB gear, this is certainly the first time anyone thought to bring a Dana, a Louis / Vinz, and a Janine. Well done!

Busting makes her feel good.

I got a heads up that Toby, one of the world famous Suicide Girls, has submitted a new photo-set and the theme is something familiar. What? You thought all Ghostbusters fans worked inside an office 24-7, like me?

…and she sleeps above the covers. FOUR FEET above the covers.

Now, here’s the trick – this is a big kids link and by extention is NSFW. So, if you’re at your job or too young to know what a Suicide Girl is, you shouldn’t follow this link (or any link in this post, for that matter.) And if you happen to, it’s got nothing to do with me. I am not my reader’s keeper. That said, check this out…
