Bill commented a heads up; “For those of you in the Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN area, the local discount theater in Moorhead is showing Ghostbusters for $4 tonight and tomorrow at 9:30.”
At the Marcus Safari Theater – I’m assuming if you live in the area, you’ll know what I mean. Thanks, Bill.
Ghostbusters at Halloween drive-in, Derry, UK
Man, that’d be a blast – getting to watch Ghostbusters at a drive-in. I can’t go (I have plans. And I’m really far away. And my car isn’t water-proof. Also, I don’t have a car), but if you live close-by, maybe all you UK readers can go!
Ghostbusters screening tonight, AZ
If you’re in the Scottsdale, Arizona area, you might want to hit the UA Pavillions 11 for the 7PM showing of Ghostbusters. The AZGBs will be in attendance, and there will be a trivia contest before hand, apparently. Go here for more info.
Family Channel showing Ghostbusters 1 and 2 Halloween night
Family Channel will be showing both Ghostbusters movies, one after the other – perfect for post-trick-or-treat viewing! Check local listings!
[NOTE:} This is for the Canadian Family Channel, not the US Family Channel.
Monster Kinetic Energy

Never one to pass up an opportunity to mine our collective childhoods, Scott Kurtz at PvP has started an excellent Halloween story arc, which features a certain piece of Real Ghostbusters equipment. Here’s the start of the storyline. Though for some reason he’s using code – in this case, it’s called an MKE meter, or Monster Kinetic Energy meter. Which is alright, but I’m pretty sure detecting monster kinetic energy is either a motion sensor or getting punched in the face by a werewolf.
