Ryan has sent in some more details on the Hallmark Ecto-1 ornament, as Hallmark collectors start getting their copies of the Hallmark Dream Book in the mail. The car will retail for $18.50US and will be released July 11th during Hallmark’s Ornament Premiere. While Hallmark collectors will get first dibs, regular Ghostheads should be able to find it at their local Hallmark store. And it’s not simply an ornament – the wheels turn!

i hate when these ecto’s come out and aren’t exactly correct. the gadgets on top aren’t the exact same as the movies. and other little things. for 18 bucks can i get a little more plastic to finish out the top?

  4. Psyniac says:

    Holy cow, s’beautiful.

  5. GBFAN4Life says:

wow the wheels turn well let me jerk off right now! NOTTTTTTT

  6. castewar says:

Dude, the wheels turning aren’t really that big of a deal – that’s why it’s a toss off in the post. But at the same time, it’s important to some people. A die-cast dinky-car ornament that has working wheels is, however slightly, more impressive than one where they don’t. Particularly if they’re thinking about shelling out twenty bucks.

So, got anything relevant to add, or you just going to gum up the comments like normal?

  7. CNCGB, Boyer says:

Yeah, the wheels turning comment by Castewar is most likely sarcasm. No complaints from me, not even about the roof rack. Looks awesome.

  8. Lanny D. Crepit [aka "Ectofiend"] says:

*My only complaint about the roof rack is the lack of the “ecto antennae” [the thing that everybody and their dog mistakes as a "proton blaster"], though I’m guessing that was so there would be a spot for the ornament hoop to fit through…

    *Otherwise I’m digg’n it ;P…

    *Cheers.

*P.s. – Caste – Any word on the scale?

  9. anklebunker says:

    I believe it’s “Magic”….lol

  10. Ecto Freak says:

Who gives a flying fleep if its not 100% accurate? Hell I have photocopies of the offical blueprints to 1/1a and there not 100% accurate. I’m just happy cause Im a BIG ecto fan and I cant wait to get this sucker.

I bet you its 1/64 scale

  11. Patrick says:
