Anthony Bueno, producer/director of Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters, kindly sent us a clip from the documentary for the 25th anniversary screening here in Vancouver a couple of weekends back. And even more awesome, he let us post it up to share with those of you that couldn’t be there. It’s nice to see, as you find out in the clip, that Bill Murray learned for William Atherton’s harsh lesson.

Excellent stuff!
This keeps getting better and better- can’t come soon enough!
Very cool, I Can’t wait!
I wonder if the guy who played Peck in the first film was cursed with having people call him “Dickless” for years after and that’s why Bill Murray decided to spare this guy from calling him a name.
It won’t play for me can anyone help?
Dan Aykroyd called Peck dickless though…
Yeah, William Atherton has commented numerous times how people call out “hey dickless!” to him in the middle of the street. He’s earned some real notoriety.

You can listen to Atherton talk about it directly in this radio interview PC has had for years now.

Hahaha…Peck=Pecker and Hardemeyer=Hard On. Makes sense and would have worked, but I see Murray did do him a favor. Learning a lesson from poor William Atherton’s fate…lol!
Very cool! I always liked Kurt Fuller, not only in GB2 but Wayne’s World and other appearances.
I remember the “hard-on-meyer” line being in the script, and they actually kept it intact for the NOW Comics RGB-as-Ghostbusters 2 comic adaptation – which was pretty surprising. Good for them, and good for boners.
