Mmm. I’m not sure but I think someone missed the Courtroom Peter/ Washington square ghost figures in TRU series 1
Not so much missed as haven’t been able to confirm its existance. It’s no longer on the Toys R Us website, which might be an oversight, or it might be a glitch, or it might be gone. I don’t know yet – if someone has seen it in a TRU, please let me know, and I’ll add it. For not, it’s AWOL.

The Courtroom Peter Venkman and Washington Square Ghost Toysrus set is official! I recieved my order from Toysrus.com on july 6th of all the wave 1 GB minimates and that one is definitely in the set! It even has a silver “R” exclusive sticker in the middle of the package!

Courtroom Peter exists… I have 2 of them. They shipped from TRU.com earlier this week.
Also, there are some corrections to the list…
Specialty Stores – Series 2 has Ray, not Peter
And I’m not entirely sure, but I don’t think its Dana/Zuul in the Specialty Stores – Series 2. I think it basically is Dana, Louis, Terror Dog. I’m not even positive, can Dana be put into the Terror Dog shell? I should try this later.

I’m pretty sure Dana can be put in the terror dog same as Louis (all the dog needs is a body in there to hold its shape), it takes a bit of patience and careful fiddling to do it though.
Also, as an FYI, as of this morning the only Wave 1 Minimates showing up on TRU.com are Gooey Ray/Exploding Stay Puft and Egon/Library Ghost (both are out of stock).
Also worth noting… the Egon in the Library Ghost 2-pack is the same Egon as the one in the Series 1 4-pack.
All the TRU sets are available in stores. I picked up the entire first series last night.
I unfortunately work for TRU and I haven’t seen the Minimates in stock. We have the Terminator, Battlestar Galactica, and Wolverine ones but no GB. I’ll continue to look in hopes of finding series 1.
When will these be available in Toys R’ Us? I know, horrible question….
Joe, yes, of course. How quick can you send it? People are clamoring for it! Well, a couple. And they’re quite calm.
Chris, they should be out in stores now. As a TRU exclusive, in theory every store should be getting them. And worse comes to worse, the TRU website has them all (except, currently, courtroom Peter.)
I’ve corrected the list to add Peter in, seeing as people actually have been able to buy him.

Found the first wave of TRU Minimates last night, except for Goey Ray and Exploding Stay Puft.
Forgot to mention that clear Slimer is lacking the food in his stomach as pictured in the promo shots. Also, Egon has a removable PKE Meter on his belt, and Slimed Venkman has a removable walkie talkie! How awesome is that? “Come in….. Ray…” Haha
The Amazon ghost set has been cancelled. The SDCC two-pack is readily available for preorder/reservation by several Ebay sellers.

PX = Previews Exclusive. Meaning it’s only available through stores that order from Diamond Distribution’s catalog.

i called the diamond select toys (the manufacturers) and they said that the the first wave of minimates are sold out and wave 2 will come out in october
The Release Dates page on minimatesheadquarters.com lists it as a cancelled item. Plus, a search on amazon.com yields nothing.
Checked two TRUs last night and nothing. Not even empty pegs so I’m thinking they’ve yet to get them.
Just got them, the detail they put into them is amazing.
If you do a search on Ebay. Theres a bunch there. Its pretty much just the box set #1 (with dana and louis) and the toysrus Wave 1. And they’re expensive as shit.
I just spent $70 on all of them. but i dont give a shit, theyre fucking awesome. Get em now, they going out quick.
I had trouble finding the Exploding Stay-Puft annd Gooey Ray TRS Exclusive as well, my first time out. But found all the rest. Either it’s very popular or a lower number was produced.
Though I went back tonight and they had restocked an all of them. The finally had, only two, of the Stay-Puft/Ray set. I grabbed one. My Series 1 TRS Exclusives is now complete! Bring on Series 2!
These GB minimates are so neat, with great detail and fun to collect! I’m addicted!
I also ordered the Series 1 box set from Diamond Select last night. As well as the GB2 Peter and Glow-In-The-Dark Stay-Puft SDCC Exclusive via eBay last night.
Now I just need to find the Amazon VG bad-guy set. I saw a couple on eBay for $50 and $75 !!!
