Joe Roberts, who made that awesome graphic checklist of the Ghostbusters Minimates, has made a papercraft firehall – this free to download building has a couple of advantages over the other firehall out there. This one is built to scale, and you can play with your Minimates inside! On two different floors! Niiiiice.

I hope everyone enjoys it, and I’d like to see peoples photos of their own completed firehouse playsets!
http://jhroberts.deviantart.com/gallery/ is where you can download the individual panels, and here are a couple pics

THIS is really awesome. Any chance there will be a tutorial or exact dimensions for things? I ask because I’m one of those who are not artistically inclined, nor am I good with construction. A step by step would be swell.
I did talk about my methods of assembling the firehouse, which you can read about in the thread here

I’ve been studying your completed mock-ups and had some questions. So, are those two 11X17 sheets of paper to make the back walls, both interior and exterior and one sheet of 11X17 sheets for the other walls? If I take the downloaded files from your deviant art page to a copy shop, will they come out right, or do I have to manipulate them in some way ro change dimensions? It sounded like your message board memos said you would change some of the dimensions and turned it into a 16 page .pdf. Just curious! Great work!
they were designed to be glued to foamcore (needs to be sturdy for the minimates to stand in) but if you save the files and print them with photoshop they should print at the right scale/size
