So… how did the winners figure it out? Wander New York? Use google? Recognize it? From clues in the picture?
A lot of entries were New Yorkers who recognized the street, or at least the area, and then went checking.
Some found it through brute force Street-View wandering on Google Maps.
I’m from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. I found it by spending a day walking New York via Google Street view. Time consuming but still fun
