Inspired by The Big Lebowski D&D alignment chart, I had to take a shot at a Ghostbusters version, if only as a tool to better understand the characters; I certainly have always taken their characters for granted – good v. bad – but having to work within the boundaries of the alignment guide turned out to be a good brain exercise.

A lot of characters didn’t make it in, either because they didn’t fit well (What’s Janosz when he’s not possessed? Is Slimer more animal than sentient, and thus a true neutral?) or I couldn’t include everyone; Dana and Janine could be on there – where would YOU put them? (D&D alignments explained.)

    For Dana, Janine, and Janosz

Dana: Professionally Good (she likes her job and works hard)
Janine: Professionally Neutral (does the work but with an attitude)
Janosz: Professionally Evil (couldn’t escape the evil tendencies at work)
