In the last couple of years it’s become less and less of a surprise to see comic art appear on an artist’s website or DeviantArt account… but this is the first time a sneak peek has come out as an eBay auction, BEFORE the comic ships.
Josh Howard, who let us know about the Summer one-shot from IDW by letting the cat out of the bag on Twitter, has posted his original cover art for the issue on eBay, thus giving us our first look at the second of two covers. Unlike previous IDW Ghostbusters comics, which often had at least three covers, the convention themed Con-Volution will only have the two.
Howard posted the final coloured cover, but the auction is for the original, inked black and white art only.

this one is way better than the other one. It has more feeling to it and you can see their characters coming out a lot more.
I’m really digging the art on this one!
Also Egon looks like Stephen Colbert.
Hmm too bad the cover of Ray’s comic doesn’t say “Captain Steel”. It would have been a nice throwback to the RGB series. I definitely prefer this art style over the previous cover, though both are great.
Ray looks great. Looks like they got as close as they could without Aykroyd’s people suing them lol.
