Tragic drama of two young men following their dreams & then getting crushed.

Or at least, that’s what I take away from this Josh’s Mindhouse short film.

OK, I’m kidding. Mostly. The film is, for reals, a condensed and spastic love letter to Ghostbusters, with a very small post-script face-slap to GB costumers. Ingenious use of real New York GB locations is bolstered by some spiffy props – at the exact time the “well, what CAN we use” nature of some of the shots (watch for the containment unit scene) is comedy gold, as is the improvised and entirely off-track (and key) soundtrack. How do you dodge expensive license fees? Sing it yourself – then it’s parody.
