Another massive GB tattoo! GB cookies (why aren't these a real product?)

Chris Spicuzza sent in a picture of his leg, showing off his Ghostbusters themed legging tattoo – check this out! (and absolutely click for full size.) It was done by Nick Wagner at Black Hive Tattoo in Jacksonville, FL.

And GhostbustersNews.com spotted these fantastic cookies on Flickr. Tell me they shouldn’t be mass producing these things, honestly…

Having watching my highly talented mum cookie up the kitchen over the years, I have to say, these are AMAZINGLY detailed!

Alabama GBs show off patch! New Hampshire GBs at charity event!

The New Hampshire GBs (GBNH) will be attending Touch a Truck, Saturday May 15th in Manchester, NH to benefit the Noah’s Ark child care center & the Simon Youth Foundation & the New Hampshire Food Bank (that’s a whole lot of charity goodness – how can you NOT go?) They’ll be debuting their Ecto-HHR – to see it in progress, you can check here or watch this video;

Also, the Alabama GBs have sent in a picture of their patch – I always dig it when franchises try and move away from the circle. It doesn’t always work perfect, but it always has character – the AB patch is really nice, and made, practically by hand, by Kathy of Katarra8.com – if you want a ABGB patch of your own, she sells them here.

ModNation Racers gets Ghosthead thumbs up

Greg Miller, IGN editor and giant Ghostbusters nerd (as are we all) has posted his review of Sony’s upcoming Modnation Racers, their contender for the kart racing crown and follow-up to Little Big Planet (itself prone to fits of Ghostbusters) in their drive to make games with a “Play, Create, Share” philosophy. And the verdict is… buy it. 9/10.

There are a number of reasons I’m posting this, beside Miller, who posted a preview two months back showing off the game’s custom car feature by building himself a hotroddin’ Ectomobile. For starters, the gang at GhostbustersNews.com have put the word out they’re looking for like minded Ghostheaded PS3 owners to join them in building a wealth of Ghostbusters themed racers, racing cars and just about anything else they can thing to do with the game (something I will have to leave myself out of for now, as I’m not a PS3 owner.)

But mainly I’m posting this because it was made here in Vancouver by my friends at United Front Games, some of whom are also massive Ghostheads (Eman!) and I’m cheering them on. I don’t think they need it, but they deserve it after a couple years of hard work.

Here’s Greg’s review and his two Ghostbustery previews from March.

SoCal Ghostheads post video of rush to meet Dan Aykroyd… in an Ecto-1

GBFans has this fantastic video of J Ryan and Sean Bishop working to finish their Ecto-1 in time to meet Dan Aykroyd at last week’s signing appearance in Pasadena. Nice work guys. If you want to know more about the Delorean (seen in the video) click here.

Ecto 1 Maiden Voyage from JTurchetta on Vimeo.

Not only is a great car and not only did they get to meet Dan, but Dan dropped a couple of hints about what he has in mind for a third film, including updated equipment and a new vehicle (not surprising, as the rarity of the original model increases.)

Arizona GBs score for charity – UKGBs have snazzy patch too!

As mentioned last week, the Arizona GBs attended the Cannonball Spree Car Show on Friday, bringing their Ecto-AZ, Sony’s inflatable Stay-Puft, and knack for raising awareness – by the end of the day, they had raised over $2000 for Operation Homefront which provides military families with emergency money and support.

You can check out all their photos from the day’s events on their Flickr page.

And the UKGBs sent in a picture of their custom patches – niiiiice.
