James Stayte has a new design up on Threadless – adding to the ever-increasing number of awesome Ghostbusters shirts at Threadless – where it awaits the yea of nay of the crowds. Personally, I’m yea – go have a look for yourself and be sure to vote! Won’t get made if you don’t vote.

  1. HATE IT. and that has nothing to do with my personal feelings about threadless.

  2. castewar says:

Except that we have no idea what your personal feelings are about Threadless, until you made a point of telling us… which kind of, you know, suggests…

  3. Pete Venkman says:

So few of the Ghostbusters shirts actually have decent designs, and this is not one of them. Lame beyond lame. Could not pay me to wear this.

  4. castewar, you might wanna consider auditioning for GB3. You crack me up.

  5. castewar says:

I’m here all week, Pete. Tip your wait staff.

    Actually I’m here every week.

  6. Some_Guy says:

    I want this.

  7. Not sure what ‘tip your wait staff’ means…but it sounds like a business term, so, just so you know, I wasn’t inviting you to ask for my card or something…I don’t work in show business, I just think since (supposedly?) they’re casting unknowns for the new team(s), maybe you could help! THAT would be good publicity for them AND you! Or so I would think…

  8. Of course I don’t know if you have acting training…that might be important…I read something by either Wes Craven or one of his website staff, in response to people asking him if he could help them get a head start in acting, that it wasn’t easy to pick some random person and get them into a movie, ’cause it requires knowing how to position yourself when the camera is pointed at different angles or something like that…of course you prolly already know that, I learned this back in high school, which was almost 10 years ago, so…but yeah, I can’t even begin to thank you for all the laughs you’ve brought! Maybe that’s just me, but…I doubt it…

  9. Burr Martin says:

No. Sorry. I’m REALLY sick of the “80′s retro” GB shirts. The spray paint, etc. Enough already. Let’s update it a little, huh?
    AND STOP NOT INCLUDING WINSTON!!!

  10. How on earth would you update a Ghostbusters inspired idea/design/etc.? After 1990, the whole world has been drowned out in pessimism and depression etc., which became official in 1992 when “Smells Like Teen Spirit” went No. 1 on the Billboard charts. And just when the world was (very slowly) lightening up, 9/11 happened and since then people have been a lot more world-weary. You can see it in all the fantasy/thriller/family movies of the last 10 years – LOTR, Harry Potter, Twilight…none of those films can be considered “fun” movies in the sense that GHOSTBUSTERS was/is; the 80′s – i.e.: neon/bold colors, synths etc – was the most fun decade this world has been in recent history. I think it might be the ONLY fun decade in recent history, since the decade immediately preceeding the 80′s saw this country in the worst state of turmoil since the Civil War…

  11. I participated in the ghost collaboration shirt design earlier this year, and they never made the shirt. that’s why I dont like them. I know, Im a big baby.

  12. Looks cool. Reminds me of the bit at the end of the Ray Parker Jr,. music video where Bill Murray tries to breakdance in Times Square (though one of the guys has to help spin him around).
