IGT announced today that the will be unveiling a line-up of licensed pop-culture themed games – including Godzilla, Sex and the City, and Ghostbusters – at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo, Nov. 16–18.
Vegas isn’t as big on classic slot-machines as it used to be, featuring more and more video gambling terminals, not unlike the crazy Japanese gaming terminal we saw earlier in the year. We’ll just have to wait to see what style the North American game will take.
The Ghostbusters™ Slots family asks the classic question “Who ya gonna call?” and answers it in an entertaining MegaJackpots® game. Paranormal exterminators Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore, along with “The Keymaster” Louis Tully, all appear in the game. But the true star is Slimer, who is up to even more mischievous fun. This iconic green ghost appears randomly and often, adding credit wins, wilds and multipliers throughout the base game. With a minimum bet, players are eligible for the random Slimer base game features and the Ghostbusters™ Bonus. The Ghostbusters™ Bonus consists of four sub-bonuses including three highly themed, interactive bonuses packed with iconic clips from the blockbuster Ghostbusters™ movie, as well as a free games bonus with random locked wilds and credit awards. And all the fun action plays out in exciting 3D, showcased in an attractive two-machine configuration with a shared 55-inch LCD overhead screen that displays bonus play and attracts.
