Ghostbusters commerical – uncut, with extra comedy

YouTube has yielded some gems today – this time, it’s the Ghostbusters “We’re ready to believe you” television commercial in it’s entirety, by itself (not playing on a TV.)

What makes it extra awesome is Egon’s pained attempt at a smile (which actually looks human in the movie, when it’s on a little TV screen) and EYE TWITCH!

Wow, that’s awesome to see without being on the TV. It doesn’t have the phone number or anything at the bottom, just looks like the raw and horribly edited (on purpose of course) rough footage. Pretty cool.

Correct me if Im wrong, but isnt this an extra on the Game? Im pretty sure it is…

  3. Kevin says:

Yeah, this was on the Ps3 version of the game. I love having it uncut and on YouTube now though.

    Man that smile looks painful.

Ah yes, I LOVE Egon’s subtle humor in part 1. As he recites his line, looks for and stands back on his mark and then stares into the camera with that blank emotionless stare, it reminds me of the bellhop scene from Pee Wee’s Big adventure. haha

look at the egon`s left eye on thet last scene.

  7. I bought the PlayStation 3 copy of the game (even though I don’t have a PS3) specifically so I could rip this video off of the disc and upload a copy that isn’t missing a second or two at the beginning. Then I found out after I tried the disc in my Blu-ray drive that Sony uses a proprietary file format on the discs that can only be read (unintentionally) by one very specific model of Blu-ray computer drive. Even though my drive is made by the same company (Lite-On), it’s not that very specific model :-(
