Pennsylvania band The Almighty Terribles will be performing live at a screening of Ghostbusters, April 14th, at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas in Bethlehem – it’s part of ArtsQuest’s “Soundtrack Comes Alive” series and it looks like it can’t be missed, so if you’re in the Harrisburg area, think about it. The concept is that the movie plays sans soundtrack, which the band recreates, sometimes faithfully and sometimes from scratch.
Tickets cost $13, and $10 for students, seniors and ArtsQuest members. Go here for more information. And if you attend, let us know how it goes! Big nods to Grim Santos for the heads up.
You have less that 36 hours to take advantage of this Fantastic Stay-Puft t-shirt at TheYetee.com. It’s a great shirt in general and double the bill if you’re a Marvel Comics fan, as it also features one Johnny Storm, the Human Torch!

Or at least it’s a big coincidence that they both nerded out with the Ecto-1 today, then posted on Twitter. Again, read nothing into this – actors being on a studio lot isn’t that shocking. That they’re Ghostbusters fans is awesome. But that’s it for now.
Fellow Ghosthead and writer, Mr. Holmes, interviewed Harold Ramis for the then soon-to-be-released GB video game. The interview, much edited down, did run in a long deceased magazine, so Holmes has opted to share the love online – here’s the full interview from 2009!
New iOS/Android GB game unveiled at MacWorld 2012!

GhostbustersEquip yourself with proton guns and other equipment, and you can capture paranormal menaces like a true Ghostbuster. There are location-based features that enable players to interact with their surroundings and catch site-specific ghosts, like library or subway ghosts. There is also a social aspect that encourages players to team up with friends and other Ghostbusters. You can gain experience points (XP) to upgrade your ghost fighting equipment so that you can rid the world of these menacing specters forever.
Ghostbusters will be released for both iOS and Android in July (or sooner) of this year. It will be a freemium title.
