Thanks to Paul at Spook Central for digging up more info on the source of the Blue Busters video (from the previous post), namely a cassette (ask your parents) called Apple Boogie. Basically, an entire album of Apple-centric cover tunes. Mind boggling. You can download the entire album, including the cover insert and lyrics, here.

Going by the cover, the music was acquired directly from Golden Touch Music and Raydiola Music (Ray Parker Jr.’s company), with new lyrics by Ted Iserman and Michael Marksman. There is no mention of Ray Parker Jr. lending his voice, contrary to some comments to the YouTube video, but the music is essentially an instrumental track (which makes sense, as the instrumental was floating around on the soundtracks at the time, an easy loan to Apple.)
