Pennsylvania band The Almighty Terribles will be performing live at a screening of Ghostbusters, April 14th, at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas in Bethlehem – it’s part of ArtsQuest’s “Soundtrack Comes Alive” series and it looks like it can’t be missed, so if you’re in the Harrisburg area, think about it. The concept is that the movie plays sans soundtrack, which the band recreates, sometimes faithfully and sometimes from scratch.
Tickets cost $13, and $10 for students, seniors and ArtsQuest members. Go here for more information. And if you attend, let us know how it goes! Big nods to Grim Santos for the heads up.

whoa! that’s… in my town! Not sure i’d like a “new soundtrack,” but it could be fun

Yes it is true! We ae very excited and honored to perform for The Soundtrack Comes Alive. As far as what we are going to be playing (mostly piano/instrumentals on the official soundtrack), we will be performing a mix of original sound scapes, fusing together multiple different genres and styles. We will also be incorporating improvisational grooves and melodies into the mix. TheAlmightyTerribles.com or DaveCahill.com for more information!
