"The Sherlockian game (also known as the Holmesian game, the Great Game or simply the Game) is the pastime of attempting to resolve anomalies and clarify implied details about Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson from the fifty-six short stories and four novels that make up the Sherlock Holmes Canon by Arthur Conan Doyle. It treats Holmes and Watson as real people and uses aspects of the canonical stories combined with the history of the era of the tales' composition to construct fanciful biographies of the pair."

Ghostheads basically do the same thing. I'm thinking we need to give it a formal name – like, The Steady Paycheck. Or The Job.

I've changed my mind, I like The Job better, as unlike Holmes fans, many fans not only enjoy treating the fandom as if the guys were real, but enjoy pretending that they have the same job (Holmesians don't run around pretending the are also consulting detectives, as part of their love of Sherlock Holmes.)

Anybody want to second "The Job"?

Targeted crime or a bad area? I'm not too keen on the idea of anti-nerd hate crimes. The original Ecto theft and destruction happened a month ago, but now a fellow Ghosthead has had his two regular cars destroyed as well.

A superfan who customised a hearse to recreate the famous Ghostbusters car fears he is the victim of a vendetta after his replica was ruined and two family cars were torched.
