    OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Confirmed today, White Tiger Filmz is set to begin production on a new and exciting Ghostbusters themed project. Set as a pilot for a potential series, the short will chronical the fictional adventures of Ghostbusters, Virginia: Richmond Division.

    Just added to the cast is Erica LeHuray(AMC’s Turn) and Matt Bill, two fresh faces to the studio that the team were eager to have aboard. Also joining the cast is Jamie Hodges, Matt Adams and Jesse Hodges portraying themselves as Ghostbusters: Richmond Division with potential cameos from original film cast members! Although, we can’t yet confirm who. Lastly, it’s rumored the short could feature music from a popular artist equally as geeky as the film makers with a love for the boys in grey. A name will be announced when things are finalized.

    Appropriately timed with the year of the original film’s 30th Anniversary, it also falls shortly after the passing of Ghostbusters co-creator and comedy great Harold Ramis. In wake of this and saddened by the loss of an idol, the team has decided to dedicate this film to him. “It only seems appropriate”, says Jamie, “Without him we wouldn’t be here doing this. So yeah, this is for him, and we’re going to do it right.”

    The film has already begun preproduction and is set to begin filming late March in Richmond, VA. The project will reportedly be released to the public in October after being submitted to Wizard World in September 2014.
