AZ Ghostbusters Children’s Hospital Xmas Visit

On Wednesday, December 21st, 2011, the Arizona Ghostbusters made their third annual visit to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Cardon Children’s Medical Center to deliver the toys collected from the Samurai Comics Toy Drive on December 10th. At each hospital the toys were set up for the children and parents to come in and pick from. Our first stop was the outpatient wing of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In the afternoon we set up at the Oncology unit at Cardon Children’s Medical Center.

While it is one of the hardest things we do each year, it is also one of the most enjoyable. We saw some children that were there last year as well, but they’re still just as bright and strong. We are very honored we were able to brighten the holidays for these children, if even for just a moment and are already looking forward to next year.

Alabama GB’s Tornado Relief auction is underway!

There’s just under one week before the auction is all over and now is the time to jump in and nab some low opening bids on some really great Ghostbusters swag – They have GB items, props, DVDs, and books signed by Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, they have some one-of-a-kind items, like a stuffed Slimer. They have some Dapper Dan Schoening art, and they even have a rooftop light bar, which they are careful to point out isn’t exactly like the one used on the Ecto-1, but close enough to run some red lights (you can’t really run red lights with the, I made that up.) I’ve got my bid on the couple of things I’m eyeballing – I could tell you to back off, but where’s the charity spirit in that, so come guess what I’m buying and outbid me if you like.

The auction is here!
