GB film score CD almost gone!

Ryan LeClair emailed me just now - apparently when he and his father went to order their copy of the Elmer Bernstein Ghostbusters film score, they were told by Var�se Sarabande customer service that they were down to ten copies remaining. So if you didn’t get one already, let’s hope they decide to do a second run.

This is looking very exciting! Let me know when you actually receive your copies in the mail! I listended to the samples and they sound really clean and crisp. What do you all think? I’ve been stuck in the middle of another Ghostbusters pre-order fiasco for 8 months and I’m too scared! :)
Well, they start shipping tomorrow, so we should start hearing feedback pretty soon.
Damn! I wish I could order it. Ah well, I’m hoping that they do a second run.
Has anyone received a shipment confirmation e-mail yet? I ordered shortly after the “almost gone” news was posted, and I’m not sure whether I made the cut or not.
I haven’t yet, no.
I would still keep trying to order the score until the site of the label officialy says they are “sold out”.
the only thing i have gotten from them was a purchase confirmation, not really a shipping confirmation yet.

I ordered my CD the second day it was on sale but haven’t got it yet or even a delivery confirmation? Anybody got theirs yet?
I ordered mine on the 15th…I too have not yet gotten a mail notifying me of delivery…I’ll notify as soon as I get one, though. :)

I e-mailed them yesterday and this is what I got.
“The shipping process commenced on that date for the more than a thousand orders that we received. You will receive an email when it ships.

I finally got my confirmation today.
I e-mailed Varese Sarabande on 3/24 (to orders@vareseSarabande.com) and 3/28 (to orders@vareseSarabande.com, info@VareseSarabande.com, customerservice@VareseSarabande.com). I have yet to receive a reply to either message.
They charged my card instantly when I placed the order on 3/8, but they let that charge expire on 3/13. So right now I’ve not been billed, and obviously we’re two weeks past the supposed shipping date still listed on the webpage (”CDs will begin shipping on March 16″).
If I don’t hear something from them by the end of the week, I’ll give them a call on Monday and see what the heck is going on.
By the way, Andrew, which address did you use that got you that reply from them?
Well, seems I’m one of the lucky ones. I recieved a confirmation e-mail earlier today and was surprised to discover that my package arrived this afternoon! Haven’t listened to the CD yet, but rest assured that I do have a copy, which probably means that others will soon recieve theirs.
I got my confirmation today. The address I used was at the bottom of the order confirmation e-mail.
My dad, who ordered the CD for me, said that he wrote an e-mail to Varese Sarabande, and they replied that they are shipping the last orders at the end of this week, so hopefully that means those of us who still don’t have our copy will have it by next week at the latest.
It’s been 15 days since I ordered mine, and still no CD or order confirmation…I’m going to send them an e-mail right now. :(
I got mine yesterday and I listened to it last night. It’s great. It was nice to hear the instrumentals from the old soundtrack mixed in there.
I got a reply, and they said that my order was towards the end, but should be in the mail by next Tuesday.
Has anyone been told that their order WILL NOT ship? Any idea if such an e-mail will be going out?
I doubt they would do that…but then again, if they run out, who knows… :/
I just got my Order Shipment confirmation e-mail today. YAY! I was getting mighty worried when they weren’t replying to my e-mails (they still haven’t, but it’s ok now).

The disc is very well put together. I hope they do another run for folks who missed out. It’s definitely worth getting.

Whoops - they spell it “Zool” in the track listings.
Got mine in the mail on Friday. It’s already neatly catalogued on my iPod. :D
As I was leaving town for the weekend, I saw the UPS van at the end of my block. I got the driver’s attention, and was able to get him to give me the CD at the corner so I could get it before I skipped town.
