Here’s some info from the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) that may be of use to some people: “If you want to file a complaint about an online transaction that involves a foreign company, please use our econsumer.gov complaint form.”

You can also file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center [a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C)]

Will you get complete satisfaction with these complaints? Probably not. Those organizations may not do a damn thing, but at least complaints will be filed and that should be shameful enough for Sebastien.

If you paid by credit card, contact your credit card company and tell them to deny the charge (issue a chargeback) because the order was never filled.

This should get you your money back, and put some pressure on 88MPH.

According to what I heard from a lawyer is that this is international law and you have to work through the Canadian government if you live in the U.S.

At the very least, if this were reported to our local authorities would they be able to raise the issue? Technically what has been done is illegal!

Hey this sucks. I recently sent Sebastien a very polite (no, for real) message and never got a reply. No wonder why. I “bought” my HC through Graham Crackers, so maybe I’ll be able to cancel it. Too bad really, I was looking foward to the compilation with the colored Zeddemore Factor, Danny’s comments and hopefully all the variant covers.

A Lawsuit would be expensive. If you are a U.S. citizen I know it would have to be filed in federal court since the company is in Canada. The filing charge is $200.00. We would have to get alot of people to make it worth the $40.00, assuming only one copy was published.

They aren’t giving refunds according to an email sent in February(?) and the “contact us” button is a link to a 404 error. And he has left weaverhall boards and won’t return PMs. That’s the info I have. Hope that helps for what it’s worth.
