The Varese Sarabande website is still offering the Ghostbusters score, by Elmer Bernstein, though the site says that out of 3000 produced, less than 500 remain. If you haven’t grabbed one yet, time is running short.
UPDATE - All CDs are completely sold out. Hope you got yours in time.

Ladies and gentleman, Varese Sarabande is sold out of the original Ghostbusters Score. Don’t believe me? Two days ago, their were less then 500 copies available for sale. Today, there website says this title is sold out.
Wow. When I said time was short, I didn’t realize it was THAT short.
I’m surprised it lasted this long. On March 15, there was a post on this site saying that very few copies remained (supposedly, only 10 copies at that time).
When I last looked, earlier this week, they’d changed it to “less than 500.” It’s possible that some orders were cancelled or reduced (to retailers, for example), provided a few more available for online sales.
I saw the “less than 500″ message on the site when you posted the recent link.
Your retail theory makes a lot of sense.
2 to 2 1/2 months is a lot longer than I thought the album would be available for. Anybody who wants it now is stuck paying inflated eBay prices (as I would wait for it to be LONG out of print before putting up MP3s on my site).
