Ghost Ride It

Posted on January 31, 2007

When a community knows the guy loaning out his Ecto-1 replica to a music video, it’s always a long wait until the final results hit the airwaves. In this case, Hip Hop artist Mistah F.A.B. has been working on a new video for his hit, Ghost Ride It, and it’s finally made its premiere on MTV.

Keep an eye out at 58 seconds for community member Craig Chen (secrecyguy), who got a walk-on, and scope Sean Bishop’s sweet sweet ride - word has it the video antics resulted in some damage to the vehicle, but the production team paid for repairs.

Besides the blurry YouTube version, you can check it out at MTV’s website.

By the way, don’t try this at home kids. Jackass is so 2002.

    Nice work there!

WHOA! I was in awe. I have to say that I absolutely loved the slimer jacket. That video made my day. :) With all the “up in the air” stuff you hear about ghostbusters, it’s good to know that there are some solid things out there we “ghostheads” can enjoy.

aw man, this is very good for us ghostheads, anything to show SONY/COLUMBIA that people still love this franchise and that one last ride is wanted.

    Thanks Mistah Fab!

That video is awesome. I don’t care for rap, but this I can actually listen to. It doesn’t appear in the video on Proton Charging, but on You Tube, there’s a copy of this video called “Mistah F.A.B. “Ghost Ride It” - THIZZ STREET EDIT” and about 2:57 into the video, there’s a scene where the actual Ghostbusters logo appears on the passenger side door of the Ecto-1. It appears another time two scenes later when there’s a front-view of the car with both doors open, but for the rest of the video, it shows the Mistah FAB edited version of the symbol.
