Lower right corner, isn’t that the 88MPH logo as it currently stands?
I definately know that was the artwork that was gonna be used on the hardcover cover when it was someday released somehow.
As I stroke my evil goatee I ask: Is the above an example of 1 of many poster ideas Seb proposed many moons ago?
So no, I will not be buying that in order to save 88 mph, if that’s what’s coming.
:o that looks like the second pencil rendering of the ecto1 by pardo sanchez. I got the first through art.com before they pulled it. BUT NOW I MUST HAVE THIS ONE!
Nice!!! I Want it!!! :)
Nick, if it weren’t to save 88MPH, you still wouldn’t buy it?
Great… I´ll draw one for myself (I save some bucks that way) :)
Ecto looks mis proportioned
Cool poster.
Could this have something to do with the Save The Ecto-1 Lithograph Campaign page now up at 88MPH.net?
Either way - while I think the art is decent, it sort of feels unfinished and I don’t think I’d hang it up. Knowing it’s coming from 88mph just seals the deal.
You should see it up close - it’s beautiful.
[...] 88mph has announced a lithograph print of Alvaro Pardo Sanchez’s black and white rendering of the Ecto-1. As seen previously, PC made it a point to see one in person - they print is exceptionally nice, and comes in a protective hard plastic sleeve for shipping. The item as bears the official seal of approval from Columbia-Tristar and General Motors, who in recent years have gotten sticky about the use of the likenesses of their cars, old and new. [...]
[...] The book got a staff call-out, which is nice and while I have yet to find it, the catalog is also soliciting the Ecto-1 Lithograph by 88mph. Given that my comic dude put in an order for me, not realizing I already own a copy, I’m assuming the listing is in there somewhere. This is good news for anyone looking to get a copy for the $20 pricetag, but without the shipping cost - it’s possibly doubly good news for overseas fans, who may be able to order through local shops who deal with Diamond Distributors (can’t swear to this though.)
