Angry Video Game Nerd: GB on NES

Gametrailers.com regularly features the Angry Video Game Nerd video show - this week he’s taking a shot at the Ghostbusters game on the NES. And all his swearing aside, he’s right. It wasn’t exactly the slickest game in the book. It was pretty cool on the Atari, but not so much on the Nintendo 8bit system. In fact, it was pretty annoying.

i liked the SMS version better.
He made some good points, but the constant swearing is kinda tasteless. He’s also pretty repetitive… going over the same thing over and over. That aside, he is 100% correct about how much that game sucked… I’m still recovering after all these years.
Oh, and I agree with you, Brian… the sega master system version was vastly superior.

As with the Angry Video Game Nerd video, there’s lots of swearing in these two videos, too.
The swearing is just his character. The repetition is reiterating how bad it is and afterall theres not a whole lot of gameplay to talk about. The game itself is repetitive and the repetition of the games bad points helps get this across I felt.
I still don’t get how cussing can phase people that much anymore. I mean with TV, movies, etc and all. Just senseless cussing directed at a bad video game. Done for comedic effect. It’s not hurting anyone and its not directed at anyone. Ah well.

I swear, this guy is my long lost brother! He reminds me so much of myself. I have sat down and cussed and yelled at different games, the way he does. Its really funny to see that and hear someone elses veiws on different games and how I seen, the same games that he has played and talked about.
I have no problem with the swearing. I mean, come on. Its freaking funny! And the use and combos of different swear words, makes the videos that much more enjoyable. I agree with the poster, Zack, on the out look of it. I cant wait for more videos by the Nerd.
