The secret to a good fan film is patience – and where most fan films seem cheap and rushed, Return of the Ghostbusters looks to raise the bar to a point few have or ever will be able to match, if its trailer is any indication.
Clocking in and 85 minutes and sporting some sweet special effects, the film will premiere to a sold out crowd, two days from now in Denver. The movie will then be released to the masses on Halloween (but of course.) Those of you not lucky enough to be attending the Colorado premiere have a second chance to see the film, with the filmmakers and cast, in New York at the BigAppleCon on November 17th. And if you’re not in New York, you’re SOL – you’ll have to get it from the BraxtanFilm website.
This movies are awesome… the FX are great… but I hate to read RETURN OF THE GHOSTBUSTERS… everybody who the Ghostbusters are (Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore) and when you watch this fan films they´re not the real guys (though we already know)… I think they can manage that situation by naming this GBs like a franchise, that´s sounds very understable and gives to the movie a totally new spin. So, you´ll know they´re not the original GBs, but only a franchise… and you´ll love it!!
