Ghostbustersgame.com has gone live, with a teaser trailer and two more screenshots to look at (including a nice look at a certain Doctor Stantz.) Also mentioned on the site, is that the game features you (yes, you!) as a new recruit to the Ghostbusters franchise. Who needs Mary Sue fan fiction, when you’ve got a video game, eh? Also, Dutch gaming site, Game1, has a gameplay video (may take FOREVER to load.) Man, this is pretty sweet. Thanks to Jerome.

Love the videos, the marshmellow man part looked really sick.
everything here is still in it’s infancy, and it doesn’t look bad at all, they still have a year to render all of it. I just hope they’re are plenty of missions, and that they focus on a more realistic setting, inneracting with the boys right before the mission, and cue in musical score from the movie, would make it breath-taking.
I’ve only been able to watch half of the first vid, and holy f’n gozer shit this is gonna be a fantastic gaming experience!!!
If i had to choose between a new ghostbusters movie and a new ghostbusters game…I would definately choose this game over a third movie!!!
I thought this is going to be PG friendly but that dark passage way with the purple ghost scared the living daylights out of me.
Still needs alot of work though regarding to the motion of the character which will be solve with the motion capture next year and also the way the beam circles slimer sucks but at least slimer sound like the one from the cartoons.
I wish there was translation for the first video because it’s starting to make me feel that the game is only going to be based on the first movie.
I hope I’m wrong…. did they mention is going to be ghostbuster 1 and 2 together including the new installment, the third ghostbusters in hell storyline???

I agree though with whats being said, the development is still going, but man, if it looks this good NOW holy hell, imagine what it will look like in a year!
i think maybe you “train” your character by doing these old missions before starting the GB3 story. I doubt They would write a story that takes you just through what all of us have watched, and dreamed of the last 20 years.
hopefully they’ll show vids of the wii version in the near future; my hopes were confirmed. there wiil be a ghost vs ghostbusters multiplayer mode on the wii…hopefully they have it on the 360 too.
wow game looks great, although Dr.Stantz was always sorta chubby, he looks lean like the Rock in that pic hahahaha, anyway, this is gonna be the game of games, if that looks good, imagine next year when the do all the rendering and all.
