I didn’t want this lost in the regular shuffle, but on the new game website, they’re setting up to “hire” people at the end of the month – presumably as some sort of street-team, grassroots marketing initiative, which certainly suits the games premise that you are employee number 6 7 at the slowly growing GBI. You can access this by clicking the Now Hiring poster (hmmm) on the left, though at this time, you can only sign up for Sierra’s newsletter.

Wouldn’t that actually make you employee # 7? Because you have Spengler, Zedemore, Stantz, Venkman, Melnitz, and Tully (their accountant). So you’d be employee #7. Either way I still can’t wait.

it sucks that moranis turned down the offer. i hope they still include louis in the game and provide a voice that sounded just like his!
You can’t not have Tully, C’mon him and Janine have hooked up, remember. They have to have him somewhere. Even if it’s just a silent character. But if you look at the in-game footage the character (in the hotel footage) is either A. Tully or B. Egon. Look for yourselves, during the dining room fight, you can see that the character has glasses, just like Tully’s or Egon’s.
Looks more like its a sign that there may be character creation, but I’m not getting my hopes up yet.
God, I hope that don’t continue that putrid Louis & Janine love angle from GB2 in the game. I’d prefer if they just write GB2 off as being a dream or a piece of Hollywood fiction. If they choose the latter, they could still have Vigo be part of the history, it’s just that the events depicted in GB2 didn’t actually happen that way. You know, how when they make a movie based on a real event, they have that disclaimer which states that “some events and characters were altered or created for dramatic effect” (or something like that).
I can’t agree with that, but I actually prefer GB2 to the original so its know wonder.
