GBfans.com launches online calendar

Posted on December 31, 2007

Remember the pre-buzz on a fan generated Ghostbusters calendar mentioned awhile back? Well, it’s first month is now available online - say hello to Miss January. Yes, Miss January. The big surprise turns out to be that the calendar is a bit on the spicy side. Kind of like those calendars you see at the autoshop, only these are for the HQ firehall.

Head on over to GBfans.com to check it out.

You gave the suicide girls a pass, but you’re taking a stand on this.

    She’s cute… ahh, I mean the calendar’s cute… yeah, that’s it.

Anyway, I think it does a grave injustice to the models to not include names, even if they’re “stage names”. Maybe I’m in the minority, but when I look at a pretty gal, I like to have a name to put with the face - or the body, whatever the case may be. By not having a name, it makes the model anonymous, and thus nothing more than a sex object, which can be seen as demeaning.

Oh, and although I personally love having a years worth of GB lovelies, I certainly hope that for all of the lady fans out there, that the folks behind this calendar put out a GB hunks version. Gotta be fair, right?

Paul, they are members of a Ghostbusters Franchise in Ohio. Their names and a few more pictures can be seen on the myspace page: myspace.com/gbbabes

AJ, thanks for telling me. Of course, anyone who views the calendar page in and of itself wouldn’t know that, so I still feel that they need to put the gal’s name on the calendar page. And why not mention that she’s a member of the Ohio Ghostbusters franchise, too. Gives them a nice plug (no pun intended).
