Gord over at TV Shows on DVD has posted a tip that part of this fall’s Ghostbusters blitz may include a multi-disc DVD set. No details yet, other than the set will NOT be released by Sony. This makes one wonder if this might be Rhino underwriting the release, after they included RGB in a public poll of what properties they should look into releasing.

Probably RGB on DVD, plus probably GB on blu-ray, plus the videogame… I can´t believe too much good news… am I dreaming?
Shout! Factory may also put it out. They brought us the cult SCTV to DVD. We’ll hafta shiver with anticipation until the fall.
I actually got an email about this from the website that you mentioned earlier today (TV Shows On DVD), but it’s still good news nonetheless that I do not mind re-reading from various sources. Supposedly the sales were poor for the 3 other DVDs b/c they were marketed to children…which wouldn’t be too bad of an idea if all or most movies & TV shows were timeless, but they’re not; most if not all TV shows have the times in which they were made smeared all over ‘em; kids, especially these days, are just too darn cool to get emersed in an ’80′s TV Show…
Please, Lord. Make this happen, and make it happen the right way (season sets).
