Old screens, but larger
Posted on May 8, 2008
A little late, but better than never, to paraphrase, right? These are the six images that came out last week, but whereas most sites compressed, resized, cropped, and/or watermarked them, they are provided here as fresh as if they just came off of Sierra’s press server… which they did. Enjoy! Let me know if you find anything good amongst the pixels.

I never imagined Winston catching Slimer at the Sedgwick Hotel. Nice pics. Thanks!
Ok, I love the details. I absolutly can not wait for this game. But I have one gripe that I never noticed until I saw the high res images. With all the microscopic detail they have added to the pack, heck even with the new clips and lights that arent on the original versions, why did they omit the alice pack? That seems like a large detail to lose, and even if they felt that was too much to animate, where does that straps to the pack connect? In the RGB cartoons, it was built like a bacpack, but in most of these images, all I see are the straps going over his shoulders, but not coming back up from underneath. Arg. I hate to nitpick, and its something I will forget once I plug it in and hear the score, the guy, and that fantatstic song, but for now, it bugs me a bit. : ) lol Maybe this will get fixed before the games release ( nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
That’s weird, because I know for a fact previous models did have an A.L.I.C.E. Pack attached to the Motherboard.
However, I’ve just reviewed some of the screengrabs from the preview of the GameTrailers segment due out tonight, and it looks like the frame is right where it should be.
Whats that green tank on the pack?? thats badass and a green hose goes from it to the gun, where the clippard barb is on the rear cylinder…

Anybody saw that Ghost trap opening on the 4th pic? what is it? a wireless trap?
Yeah, I don’t understand why the strap has no bottom connection to the pack. I mean I understand why… It hooks into a belt strap that goes around the waist instead of the pack itself. Just understand the change. I’ll have to get used to the new proton gun too, but it doesn’t bother me at all.
The trap isn’t actually open in image #4, that’s just the marker beacon telling you where it is.
Oh okay, I see : ) Its in the new pics for the game trailers ad, but not in the high rez older pics. I guess they already fixed it. lol As Gilda Radner used to say, “Nevermind” : )
