That was a great read. It got a little fuzzy with some of the tech stuff (or most of it…) but the info on Dan’s involvement and scripting was fun to read. And yes we knew most if not all of this before the article, but hey, its been 20 years, I’ll take NEW Ghostbusters news any day : )

The Sequel is the videogame in form even though it takes place in 1991 there will still be Ghostbusters 3 in CGI! Dan said that some of the Hellbent will be in the videogame and the rest of the Hellbent for the CGI Movie! Dan said on an Interview at the Winery that Bill would come back if it was in CGI and it is and Bill also agreed to voice for the Videogame as well as the CGI GB3 Movie!
Release date for the movie Summer of 2009 the CGI GB3 Movie!

why you change the release date every year? i read some of your posts dated frebruary 2007 and you were shouting” GB3 WILL COME OUT IN SUMMER 2007!!!!” then the videogame AND NOT THE MOVIE was confirmed and you were “GB3 WILL COME OUT IN 2008″ and now “GB£ WILL COME OUT IN 2009″ you are not sure of what you’re saying? you HOPE that gb3 will come in 2009 and me too…but you not know it for sure.

Fantastic - it figures about the whole crossing the stream thing. It seemed to me that they hadn’t thought about that when I watched the Game Trailers show last Friday - they seemed taken back by the question! Haha, still you can bet the first thing I’m doing in multiplayer is crossing the streams. I can’t wait. Did i mention at all that I hope I don’t die before October?

Looks like that Zootfly Ghostbusters game petition I started last year made some impact!

I’d call that a big yes. I remember being disappointed when I found out zootfly wasn’t so much developing the game as much as they were shopping their game engine around so they could advertise their other game that I don’t believe ever came out. But looking back, now I am glad we all went nuts because if we hadn’t we might not have the game that we are about to get : )

i kinda liked the darker feel of the Zoofly game…..I think Sierra and Zootfly should collaborate on the next one lol

“Did i mention at all that I hope I don’t die before October?”

Yeah, its the only game that makes me think “if I die before I get to play it, I’m coming back from the dead and kicking some ass.”

I know, can you imagine waiting 19 years for a great new Ghostbusters franchise and then copping it before it comes out? Such a terrible thought! haha.
