I heard the radio show with Dan too but c’mon… a CGI GB3 – frankly put, I hope not. It would probably be (y’know, realistically) awful.

I am happy enough with the video game and whatever else comes out alongside it.

Oh and on a side note, I grew up having the total PISS ripped out of me for loving Ghostbusters. So Ghostbuster on Ghostbuster hate crimes? I don’t dig it. Let’s all respect our differences and be cool!

2) You still have nothing but supposition, not proof. If we can see it, read it, or talk to it, then it’s not proof. You’ve never understood this.

3) I went so far as to point out that if you’re ever going to be right, this is it. And I then furthermore added that certain things I’m aware of would add to the theory of something, be it a movie or show, at SDCC – but that’s still makes it just a theory. Plus, it didn’t matter, because you ignored that part anyhow.

1) Patrick and Rock. Being the guy walking through a lightning storm yelling “Lightning will strike… NOW!” over and over and over DOESN’T make you magic when it does strike, or any less annoying in the meantime. Patrick, I’ve warned you. My comment system isn’t your personal soap box, and while you’re not exactly the only party involved here, it’s you’re point – you set the tone, and you always pick the tone of “spastic”. And it always grates on my nerves like tinfoil on teeth.

2) I wouldn’t count on anybody apologizing to you. Rock, you’ve even admitted that you don’t have hard proof, but you both demand that it be respected like it’s concrete. Proton Charging, and most every fan, after YEARS of rumours coming to nothing, demand proof. Anything else is just wishful thinking and a waste of time.

3) Everybody who’s not Patrick or Rock, given everything we already know about, there’s not much left to be a BIG announcement at SDCC. That alone should at the very least make you ponder the possibility – their arguement is still groundless, since Patrick doesn’t know what “hearsay” means, but it’s not as unlikely as it has been in the past – and if you add in a few things I’ve heard about here at there, the possibility isn’t completely ridiculous… It’s not Ghostbusters 3, by the way, but it’s just as cool.

THAT SAID…

We still don’t know anything for certain.

Patrick has cried wolf so much over the last five years, and yet he has no idea why people would doubt his word. And all I’ve got are interesting tidbits that add up to something interesting, or maybe add up to nothing.

The next person to post should think REALLY REALLY HARD, about what they say, and how important it is to them that they get to keep posting here.

Patrick, you want to be right so bad that you’re forcing your perspective to be the truth, rather than understanding the truth and changing your perspective to acknowledge it. Your information is based on “I have a friend who lives in San Diego who heard something.” Well, I’m also in San Diego and I also go to Comic-Con so my opinion should be just as good based on your critieria for what makes something I fact.

My pessimism is justified, on GBN and GBHQ I’ve seen plenty of people asking about Ghostbusters III, or making some new claim only to crumble when nothing materialised or what they were saying would out to be complete hokum.

Tag onto the fact that Ghostbusters III has been “in development” since apparently as far back as 1996 and still hasn’t really yeilded a result… a lot of people gave up hope it’ll ever happen, and I’m one of them.

And what’s Rockmx8’s source? Good vibrations? The ’strong chance’ he’s often said? He’s made a lot of claims but never really backed them up, so I’m not really willing to believe what he says.

And I’m allowed to think otherwise. Why does my differing opinion irritate you so much? You may see concrete evidence but I don’t… And then there’s the fact to me that now, we needn’t neccesarily need a third film. With the game, and rumor that we might finally get RGB on DVD, a third movie isn’t so pivotol to revitalising the franchise as it once was. The game and potential cartoon DVD release have picked up the slack Ghostbusters III left, and those things I’m excited about… Ghostbusters III on the other hand, I just can’t see anything to get excited about with each new rumor about it.

Pot calling the kettle black! Do you think people enjoy these fights? Do you think they like the fact that whenever Ghostbusters III is mentioned they know you’re going to weigh in on the subject, even though you’ve already made your opinion and position perfectly clear.

I know I’ve kept restating my own, but it’s only because of your weird compulsion to always say that “Ghostbusters III is going to happen” whenever the subject is brought up and believe me, you don’t need to keep saying it.

And I have never said he lied, but I will say I think he was premature in announcing it when it wasn’t confirmed, and it seems to me that it then fell through which is why he’s saying the game is as close to Ghostbusters III that we’ll ever get.

But that was never a guarentee in itself. Bill Murray’s willingness doesn’t mean the studio would film it.

Sony Pictures has the final word on whether a third Ghostbusters movie would be made, and even though Bill is now willing to do it it doesn’t mean there is any certainty it’d happen.

Rockmx8, I meant to ask you sooner… but am I correct in assuming you’re a friend of Patrick’s?

And what is your ‘huge chance’ based upon?

Even if you guys were right, I won’t apologise. They way you’ve conducted yourselves to those doubting what you have said, continuously posting on the subject (Rock and Patrick), insulting people and not taking the moral high ground (Patrick), and the fact that if it did happen, you’d both be smug and poor winners, eradicates in my mind my need, and the needs of those who have also argued with you in the past, to apologise.

You guys really do need to get yourselves a hobby that ISN’T Ghostbusters III. That subject has made up the majority of every post you two have ever made, and if that’s all you ever post about I fear to wonder how often you talk about that subject in normal conversation.
