If you want to get technicaly and nitpicky – and for fun, why not? – the only Activision reference is on the navigation menu banner at the top of the US site. The main page and the other country pages all feature Sierra’s logo in the nav bar, and the Sierra logo is prominently displayed amongst the bugs at the bottom of every page. I’m sure they’ll all be changed by October.

Although I have no issues with Sierra, it does my heart good to see the Activision logo adorn the top of the game site, and I hope it adorns the game when it’s released in a few months. Activision held the license for Ghostbusters games back in the late 1980s/early 1990s, so it’s nice that this new game is kept “in the family”.

By the way, in case no one noticed, the list of Ghostbusters sites has gotten a MAJOR update. It now features 10 fan sites and 3 official sites. Spook Central is FINALLY on the list, right below Proton Charging, which is just below the three official sites at the top. I like the placement

It’s a nice bit of historical symmetry, that’s for sure.

And I kind of like that Activision is releasing the game. Surely I’m not the only one who remembers that they were involved in the GBII PC game.

There’s also a problem with the quiz (the first game). For the question “how much does the proton pack weigh” no matter what answer you select it always automatically chooses the answer “30 pounds”. There’s something wrong with the site.
