It’s confirmed, Canadians will be able to pre-order and order the Real Ghostbusters DVD set – the page we’re linked to now is for the US only, which is why it doesn’t allow for entering Canadian addresses. We’ll have a Canadian ordering page link soon!
Sad news for the rest of the world though – that is the current extent of Time-Life’s ordering system. However, they seem to be referring to this as a US product line, which suggests that there is a chance that a European version may become available. This is just speculation however – if I find out more, I’ll let you know. In the mean time, impatient fans might want to pick a DVD buying buddy in North America to partner up with.
This is very dissapointing for the fans in general of the Ghosbusters franchise, cause in my opinion is incredible that something so BIG as GB choose TIME-LIFE to release anything since they are that local, GB have hardcore fans all over the world all ages, is not a small thing that just the relatives of the people that produced the cartoons are gonna enjoy.

I agree its a shame that such a big release such as a complete RGB box set is (possibly at the moment) restricted to only a couple of countries

Here’s a thought… Maybe TimeLife’s license to release the series is limited to North America. Maybe other companies hold the license to release the series in other countries. There WAS information on Proton Charging recently about a RGB Season 1 release in Germany, so this could be a possibility.
