After letting fans vote on their favorite box for the Real Ghostbusters DVD set, the winner is in – by the sounds of it, it wasn’t much of a contest, as the big favorite was the firehall, according to TVShowsOnDVD.com. Now we just have to patiently wait to see the final, non-mock-up art!

I got a weird postcard from Time Life apologizing that the ship date had been pushed back to September. But it isn’t supposed to ship until November anyway.

Logo Lou: The people who sent the card were given a incorrect date (the September one), the set has always been planned to see release in November.
I got the postcard about Sept too…weird. I would assume they don’t bill your card until it’s been shipped.

That’s great. It’s the one I voted for. And I’m glad they asked the fans because from the looks of it, the typical choice from the distribution company would most likely be the other one given that it prominently features the characters whereas with the firehouse, only a fan would get the reference at first glance.

It makes sense they would go for the firehouse, much more of a universal appeal in my book. Can’t wait for it to be released!
I hope this cartoons have spanish subtitles, because this TV series was very popular here in Mexico, I love it!
