OK, the site is working again – you can comment again. But the sidebar will take some reconstructing. Most of the important stuff is still there. Again, thanks for you patience everyone. The recent problems PC has had is due to increased traffic, and that, as they say, is a good problem to have!

Will the old link format be restored? I have lots of links to your posts using the date and title format, which currently are broken, that I hope I don’t have to change to this new “?p=” format.
WordPress has the database entry number as a default format. I’ve changed it to year, month, day (which is what the one in your most recent post is formatted to) – check to make sure I didn’t have it as year/month only in really old ones. Better to change a handful of recent ones than dozens of old ones on your site.
I just checked, and all the formats will redirect to the right thread, regardless.
