Various release dates for the newly saved Ghostbusters video game have begun appearing on online retail sites, but none were considered official, until now. At a UK press conference, Atari revealed that they would be releasing the game in June 2009 (the most common suspected date), but no actual day was mentioned. But hey, it’s official – June 2009. Mark your calendars.
Thanks to all of you who have been sending in the retail dates, and a slightly bigger thanks to the couple of you who had “secret” info for June.

Here’s IGN’s new progress report of the Ghostbusters game. Apparently the library level is 40 mins long and confirms that Ghostbusters do go to Hell.

I was wondering….does being released at a later date mean that they will have more time to work on the game?? Or is the game already done??
I hope they work on a couple things before they release it….like the wrangling mechanics should be much smoother. Overall thought i think the game looks GREAT !

Aside from the wolverine movie,the watchmen movie, this is most definatly what Im looking forward to in 2009, to quote that famous comic book creator “nuff said”.
