This is it! The NYCC is now underway, and photos of the Atari Ghostbusters set-up (booth 1557) have started to pop up. As well, Atari has announced their conventoin line-up – here’s the salient part;
Atari will have a variety of activities for show goers and media at the booth including photo opportunities with Ghostbusters and Riddick look-a-likes, booth give-aways and a Slimer ice sculpture.
Booth Swag! Cheers to EDFX for the heads up.
More photos and news will be rolling in over the weekend, so now’s the time to subscribe to the RSS or Twitter feeds (top left on the nav bar.)

I like the name tags on the wall above the screen.
Yeah, the name tags are a nice touch.
And just once, I want to be able to go to one of these conventions.
I want to know one thing: When’s the Demo coming out?
i think the name tags might be multiplayer player status letting people know which buster they are playing as its a 4 sided column 4 busters u do the math i mean why else have the names above if ur not playing that character …..right?
nah i was wrong just single player campaign and the wii version is on the other side….meh ….i want multyplayer details atari!!!!!lol…
The demo is ‘tentatively’ scheduled a couple of weeks prior to the release – so look for something around May or June Issues of certain gaming magazines.
Also the folks developing the Wii version want everyone to know that even though their version follows the ‘cartoon’ look of wii characters the colours and shading have been taken into the realm of the next-gen systems.
Little tidbit from TR folks – 75 minutes of unused music (from Ghostbusters) has been included in the game, as well as parts of the original score and newly composed pieces.
