The awesome blog, Bargain Bin Beats has posted a selection of Ghostbuster MP3s, including the entire Tahiti Real Ghostbusters soundtrack, Run-DMC’s title single from Ghostbusters 2, and Jim Latham’s Extreme Ghostbusters theme. The site editor says he has the entire Extreme Ghostbusters soundtrack to upload in the future – I’m wary, but intrigued. Stay tuned! Thanks Andreas!

Great!! I was looking for the extended version of Run DMC´s GB theme, and the XGB theme without the sound effects sounds good.

Chris, don’t be wary. I spoke with Atarizen, who runs the Bargain Beats site, and it’s the same EGB score that Mr. Latham gave to me and Troy (and maybe a few others as well) a few years ago.
I have a page for it on Spook Central, but never got around to actually adding the audio files. It’s currently just a list of the tracks, though there IS an external download link.
I put off adding the audio file because I wanted to first figure out which episodes the pieces came from. Some are easy to figure out because of their names, but others will require a little work. I’d like to eventually sort them all into what would be the perfect order if one wants to make a score/soundtrack album from them. The vocal theme with effects would be first, then the episode score pieces sorted by episode order (either airdate or production order), followed by the closing themes (there were two), and the “bonus tracks” (the effects-less theme and the “Just Call The XGB” commercial song – which is really an extension of closing theme #2).
This would also require one or two of the four tracks I recorded from the television broadcast, as listed on my EGB Multimedia page.
I want Shuki Levys incidental music from The Real Ghostbusters!
I have recently managed to speak to Saban Music Group and it seems that Warner Chappell are the ones who now have Levys recordings.
I am now awaiting a reply from them.
Hey! Thanks for the link, that was a nice surprise. Just as a heads up, eventually I will have all of my GB music on this site – I had spoken about doing that a while ago on GB Fans and this blog is the effort to archive it all to share with others. In all probability I will make this blog solely for Ghost Busters related music once there is enough on there. What’s best is that I own my own web space so none of these files will be deleted! Also, keep your eyes on the site in the upcoming months for something nice and special.
