You might not like the swag. You might think the price is too high. But enough people out there wanted a copy of Amazon.com’s exclusive Slimer Edition that they cracked the top 250 in the sales rank. And given everything that Amazon sells, that’s absolutely amazing. So, if you’re half on the fence thinking, no sweat, they’ll always have them about, I’d think twice. Thanks, Andreas!

I’m still not interested, cause’ as I said before, I could buy most of that stuff, wayyy cheaper seperately, and as far as the skins go, my PS3 stays covered when I’m not using it, so nobody would see them anyway. Plus! I could think of a million better things to spend $129.00 on.

I picked one up. Not only will that look cool on my desk, but I figure if I spend the big bucks on the game, maybe they’ll make a sequel, and the new movie won’t suck.
I am getting myself the Wii edition because you get all the sam stuff as the 360 and ps3 verisions but its a litttle cheaper. For my 360 verision I am just going to stick with my gamestop pre-order so I can get my ghostbusters 2 jump suit and my free tee-shirt.
After seeing it more detailed, I want it, but can’t afford it at the moment, I could closer to release, so I’m hoping they don’t sell out, that would suck. I’m happy so many people are interested cuz I want GB to do phenomenal.
@ survivor: That’s the smartest move I’ve seen yet. I think I might go that route too, that way you get the stylized cartoon game AND the next gen version. Very clever.
@ Ali: Yeah I want both verisons because of the next gen version looks like I remember as a kid and the Wii version I can play co-op with my 5 year old nephew (he is going to have to get used to playing as the girl ghostbuster because out of the two of us, who ever has been a fan of the ghostbusters longer pulls rank! lol).

That’s EXACTLY what I did, and it was based on the same logic. I was going to buy the Wii version anyway so since I already have a preorder on the 360 version at gamestop I decided to get the Wii version in the amazon exclusive bundle. it comes with all the same stuff and you save a little money since it’s a little cheaper than the PS3 & xb360.

for one thing something like this would be cool in that i’m crazy enough to blow 129 dollars kinda way. but i rather just stick to the regular video game purchase, because much like the movie it’s spawned from i’m classic. also in the wii and ps2 game covers you ever noticed how peter bears a somewhat resemblence to anakan skywalker from the clone wars series?

Honestly, I’m not impressed with the Smiler at all. Or the Minimates. The Ecto-1 key chain would be cool but not worth $60 cool.

Depends on where you shop.
As hardcore as I am for GB and Video Games…I just can’t afford this edition. Being 24 and on my own. Don’t get me wrong…I’d love to pic this version up. But $130.00 is a pretty penny! One thing that might swing me…if this edition also included the in-game GB2 uniform like the GameStop pre-order. If it was, I’d cancel my pre-order there, and get this!
Yeah, the in-game GB2 uniform is what is making me stick with my Gamestop pre-order.
Fingers crossed that the game is a huge hit. I have no doubt but i just hope the rest of the world picks up on it like we already have. Game Informer already said it’s an early candidate for Game of the Year!
Great that Amazon’s selling all that stuff together. But by the time the release date comes, everybody and their brother will be selling the extras seperatly on Ebay. Much cheeper. Now if Amazon were to drop the price by say… 40% and call it some kind of “Recession buster” sale, that might bring me around. Note to self: Figure out why I never got into a marketing career.
I know everyone is going to be giving out their XBOX Live and PSN names once the game comes out. Multiplayer is going to be great, especially playing with fellow Ghost-heads.
I want to wait until the right time to get MY copy of the game. “Slimmer Version” or not.
I wonder if Bobby might want to reconsider the “won’t make a $100 million dollars” statement. Cause it looks like that crow will be on the menu for a long time to come.
