It has to be remembered that iTunes isn't simply for iPods, but also for Apple TV - and some people are fine with five bucks for a digital copy, versus ripping a DVD. I've had GB on my iPod/iPhone for a couple years now. It's a great application...I even ripped some RGB to take with me and watch anytime!
