Boy…I hope down the line Amazon, Art Asylum, or even Diamond Select will offer these on their own. I plan to collect all the regular series and Toys-R-Us exclusives. It’s a shame that you have to pay $130+ for a “Slimer Edition” of the game to get these Mini’s. Not cool.
Well, it depends on how the term “exclusive” has been defined. For collectibles like this, exclusive usually means a very long time. It’s very likely that someone, somewhere, will not want them, having bought the slimer edition for the statue or something, and will sell them online, but of course that will be a pretty penny.
Still, you never know.
I want the other minimates , not these. I probably will be selling these off when i get them.
remember this guys when you’re looking for your preorder bonuses:
i don’t try to be sneaky but i have NO care for multimillion corporations that monopolize their industries and shut out local businesses…SOOOOO
most of these preorder bonuses come on a little card that you get (usualy packaged OUTSIDE the game and just handed to you at the counter)
it might be a little white lie

these usually arent just preorder bonuses, they are also given out to people who generally buy the game the first day (preorders take priority though), i have a friend who works @ gamestop and thats how they usually do it for extra bonus cards
what if i was to just walk into best buy and say “hi i picked up my copy of ghostbusters and didnt get my preorder bonus” anddd
what if the employee just handed you the preorder card and not gave a crap? (if it was a video game store, they’d care more, but bestbuy/walmart, not as much on 1 video game preorder)

think about BUYING extra copies of the game (ie: walmart) getting the preorder bonus card (if its a card, which it is most likely), and then RETURNING THE GAME
they most likely AREN’T putting the bonus costume/pack/character codes IN the packaging because that means that the game is getting packaged 3 different ways for bestbuy, walmart, gamestop
it costs less for the companys to send out individal card vouchers with the codes on them
i could be wrong but my idea could work for those willing to bend the truth in order to get the most out of your game
i definitely do not intend on buying the game 3 times for different bonuses but i would like to try to get them, so flame me if you would like but i guarantee you my ideas will cross your mind if they havent already~

It’s possible that any of the items in the Slimer bundle could be sold separately, but exclusively, by Amazon at some point in the future. That would still make them exclusive to Amazon.
But don’t hold your breath waiting for this to happen. It’s just an idea that popped into MY head. It doesn’t mean it popped into Amazon’s head, too.
