The third episode of the Crossing the Streams podcast is up – of particular note is that they interview Anthony Bueno, director/producer of the documentary, Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters. Check it out!

I WON THE CONTEST!! It was announced during Episode 3!!!
GREAT! …what did you win?
A T-Shirt!
this is the first podcast from you guy’s I’ve listened to. I liked it for the most part. The overly censored top five had me busting a gut. The interview with Anthony Bueno was good from what I could understand of it. The audio from his mic was a little too hard for me to understand at times but that’s a moot point. The Round table was quite fun too, and it honestlty flipped my attitude about Hellbent.
The only real low point for me was the jabs at Ghostheads. Now if it’s going to be a running gag between you two, that’s perfectly fine and fun. To me though, that got quite old very quickly in the podcast. Otherwise, I was sold.
So looks like I’ll be listening to both. Can’t wait till episode 4.
Thanks GriffithVoltaire, The jabs were meant to be in good fun, as Ron took a Jab at us in his last episode. Those are meant to be taken lightly as we’re like ‘The Colbert Report’ we should have a 8 Minute Documentary of meeting Dan Aykroyd on our website by Midnight tonight.
Keep listening to both Ghostheads as well as our show, as we try to bring the element of Comedy mixed with News.
Hey gents, listened to the podcast on the way home from the office tonight. Pretty entertaining stuff, definitely a progression from the first couple. I agree, the Ghostheads jabs were a l’ll awkward. And damned if I could understand any of the Bueno interview as my car speakers made it sound like the electronic British voice of God. But overall a whole lot of fun.
Although, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. The podcast that can come in under ten minutes will be number one in my book. A half hour (or 40 minutes) is a whole lot to dedicate to listening to a Ghostbusters podcast with my window down without getting caught. You’ve got great segments, have you guys considered maybe doing one segment per podcast? Roundtable one cast, interview another, etc. etc.
As I keep telling Ron, I think you guys’ll double the response and the listeners by slimming down the podcast to a shorter rendition.
Just my 1 1/2 cents (extra half-cent withdrawn because of recession).
Thanks Net, I really enjoyed your comments. I too felt the jabs were awkward, but need to be done to top Ron’s jabs at us. Because we’re a Daily Show, Colbert Report Type of show and must spoof the news type shows. Episode 3.5 Should be up at our site at any moment now…
Sorry Net for my brief reply, I know we’re still tooling with a definate format, and will take your comments into consideration as I too feel that the should should run about 15 minutes (max) and we’re still trying to find our groove. Thanks again for listening and hope you’ll enjoy the 4th show whenit’s up ina little over a week, as well as our Youtube, TV special where we go meet Dan Aykroyd and asked him…we’ll you’ll just to wait…but we may have asked about the lack of a certain commentary track….
