There are few things that are as awesome, and in some unique way more awesome, than Ghostbusters. Muppet Ghostbusters is one of those things.
Branded in the 80s magazine/blog posted scans from Muppet magazine last Halloween, featuring a Muppety spoof of Ghostbusters, entitled Grossbusters. Head to my favorite new pop culture site for a look at the entire story! Thanks to Ivan for the link!

So the weird part here is that Mad Magazine’s riff on Ghostbusters back in the day was also “Grossbusters.” I thought the name sounded familiar, so I rooted through my GB magazine collection and confirmed it.
Don’t suppose you can infringe copyright on a parody work though. Besides, Muppets can beat up Alfred E. Neuman any day.
I remember this. I used to have this issue of Muppet magazine.
… am I the ONLY person who instantly thinks of the episode of muppet babies where they did a parody on Ghostbusters? They were bug exterminators, and went up to fight a cockroach.
You’d have to see it to fully understand. I remember being very mad as a child though. hahahaha
Interesting HunterHawke, I’d never heard of that episode before. I found it online though:
