for a half meg download of profile pictures. I think this may be the beginning and the end of Ghostbusters DLC on Xbox however.

The end of DLC for the Ghostbusters game?! Sweet jesus, I was about ready to buy every damn thing they offered.
Right! why would you say that they wouldnt release more DLC for this game?
It’s the logo and 24 ghost pictures, Most are Stay Puft and Slimer, but others include the cultist ghost, the possessors, and the concept art for the Wii Graveyard Ghost.
I’ve said time and time again in other posts regarding PS3 DLC – Sony owns Ghostbusters. Sony owns the PS3. So Sony paid for third-party companies to produce DLC for the PS3. Microsoft has no rights to Ghostbusters. And Atari is so broke, apparently, that they’re selling off distribution in Europe, in part, to… Sony. So, they’re not awash in cash to produce what amounts to marketing materials.
And finally, if they were going to make any DLC, it would have been announced by now, or at least hinted at.
I allowed that my opinion was only a possibility, but I’m not exactly pulling it out of my rear. And heck, I’m hoping for more too… but it’s, as I said, several times now, unlikely.

I must say… Before activision took over sierra, the devs said in a couple different articles (ign, gamespot, etc.) a while back that there would be a ton of DLC. That was before atari tho. so we gotta keep our fingers crossed.
Sony are the ultimate asses.

You kind of supported my point, ctd. It was pre-Atari, technically there has been a tonne of DLC (all of it PS3) and with them talking about it so far back, we should of heard about that content by now, as we did for the PS3.
Don’t get me wrong – in an ideal world, you guys are right, and I’m right there with you.
Jeff, a script has to be finished and turned in, then five different parties have to agree the script is good, before you get to the part where Sony has to agree to put up $150M+ to make the movie, and you can call them the ultimate asses.
And people wonder why I try and drive home more realistic, if more depressing, eventualities.
Gamerpics are the best we’re likely going to get for DLC? Well, that’s a little depressing. I was hoping for at least a few new XBL maps or gametypes somewhere down the line… As it stands, all I’ve got is my botched GB2 flight suit that will probably never be fixed.
Oh well, I suppose having the content I do now is enough.
X play is suppose to review the game… they haven’t showed it yet but gave it a 4out of 5!
they are also suppose to have a cheat on it too! Saw the commercial Tuesday!
Well look on the lighter side of things. I didn’t even think 360 would get any DLC. Plus the 360 has the better textures and such. DLC is nice, and I’m hoping for more, but if that’s all we get then that’s all we get. I know there won’t be any more campaign missions for campaigns since I don’t think they can get more voicework for it, but maybe some more multiplayer missions would be cool, even though I don’t think I’ve even played all of them.
I’d settle for my GB2 uniform to look right.
Got the pictures..I am hoping for more DLC because I was a little disappointed with multiplayer..I really didn’t like how as you level up you only get a new suit..I would’ve had it where everyone starts out with the basic pack then as you level up you get the different suits and the other equipment and can upgrade them and choose which and how much of the equipment to use in a match..so here’s hoping they do something like that for DLC
@ Patrick, yea I know what you’re saying. It’s kind of a downer to go from being incredibly powerful in the story to wimpy in multiplayer, but they just did that to keep it balanced.
What I would like is a walkthrough of all the multiplayer aspects. The manual doesn’t go into detail about some of the things like what to expect in regards to new suits etc.
I’m at least hoping for some sort of XboxLive theme, if I get that I’ll be happy enough.
As well as the game is doing, I’d be really shocked not to see more XBOX Live content added at some point. I’d really like some multiplayer maps, and maybe a patch or two to give you more options for the on line play.
Surely we could all mobilize some sort of petition or movement to get DLC on the Xbox. The community is stronger than ever before. Put your talents toward something useful instead of posting pictures of your proton packs on GB Fans.
Eh – no additional downloadable content for Xbox 360 is not a big deal I suppose, especially considering the quality/price ratio of most downloadable content.
I really wanted a theme at least. Gamer pics too without the GBs themselves is a bummer although not a total surprise I guess. Gotta have a theme! I was also hoping for more multiplayer content. But Sony blows.
Meh Doesn’t bother me any. I guess the possibility of getting some good DLC is the reward for spending the extra couple hundred getting a PS3. Finally it pays to play on something Sony lol.
I have the PS3 version and i really hope that we get some sort of DLC, even if it’s something as simple as different jumpsuits.
I downloaded the 360 content yesterday, and it was really a waste of time, and credits…. I was hoping to be able to create an avatar in GB gear, but instead I got a load of crap. Don’t waste your time and money on it.

It’s gamer pictures at the traditional gamer picture pack cost. If you bought it thinking it would have something it made no mention of in the description, you can’t blame them.
I’m hoping that MAYBE if enough people show interest in the GB picture pack, that Sony will realize that there’s money in DLC for GB on Xbox360. That’s hoping for a lot, though.
They would most definitely create XBOX 360 DLC just because more copies were sold on the 360 than any other console, and they know that X360 is the DLC whore. So if they want to make any other money off the game, this will be the focus. I really enjoyed the game am am playing through it again on the hardest setting right now.
well i would not highly ruled it out as for uk dlc
for the ghostbusters video game only has to offer is a
playable demo with the grey lady ghost at the library
level and no other dlc other than that it is a work in
progress just give it months to up date the dlc for the game
nether the less to say that the game was released last year
so i give it time and you will find more gbvg dlc.
