Well, press release FAIL! Atari released this great trailer featuring the creepiest, man-eater ghost on the day of the release of the Ghostbusters video game, but it’s only popping up now. I have access to the Atari press site, and I didn’t know about it! It should go without saying, that if you have not played the game, this will be a big spoiler for you. Consider yourself warned.

Cool Trailer!! I hate trying to beat her on Professional though.
That really does show a lot…
gotta say, played it 3 times through and that scene at 1:01 still creeps me out. glad the game amplified the horror in Ghostbusters, yet not to the point so that it outweighs the comedy.
Weird. I didn’t find that scene scary. And the boss battle was still REALLY easy on Professional Mode. Now the Collector, that was a hard boss fight on Professional Mode.
Well not the scene in the video, but the actual bit from the game. Just imagining yerself in that damn hallway. Yeesh. Anyways, yea the collector was the hardest of all, but hey. If the spiderwitch turned out to be harder than HIM, then there’d be issues haha.
As long as you pay attention, use your PKE and have good aim, you can ace the hardest difficulty.
The most difficult part of the game in professional mode is when you have to slime tether the stone angels to break the gate.
I agree GB2VIGO and i would also like to add the most infuriating part of the game on any level!
Spider witch infuriating? Please! I beat that boss the first try, on all three difficulty settings. Annoying, maybe. The trailer was good… Except I had to turn the brightness setting way up on my monitor to see it. They should have released this trailer BEFORE the game was released. Oh well.
Personally i had no problem with the spiderwitch. I actually thought she was the easiest boss in the game aside form Stay Puft.
I just tagged her and sent out homing blasts with the ol’ Meson. Took her out real quick. Professional? Hopefully I can manage to do the same.
she is the easiest boss in the game.
Nah, Stay Puft was easier.
She isn’t hard to beat just frustrating when you can’t find her. I haven’t made it to the stone angels on professional yet but I do agree they were the biggest pain on casual and experienced.
bennythegeek, work on reading comprehension.
The comment was about the stone angels on professional mode, not the spiderwitch.
Concerning the trailer, it showed basically every scene involving the spiderwitch. I’m surprised so much was shown.
@GB2VIGO: Oh man, don’t even get me started on those damn angel statue things and trying to tether them to the gate… I was on “Experienced” and that part nearly derailed the whole game for me. Did the play-testers take that day off or something? Because that was easily the worst portion of the entire game.
She was definately easy…now Azetlor the Collector..holy hell he took forever to beat on professional….I’m on my fourth playthrough now..God I love this Game!!
She wasn’t to hard. Medium at best. Staypuft is definitely the easiest. But he’s still a lot of fun. Those damn cherubs on Professional suck big monkey balls. Even on experienced they suck. Hardest boss is definitely the collector. He moves way to fast. Shandor wasn’t too bad. Challenging with out being ridiculous. The cook was kind of a pain too, for not being a mid-boss.
I found The Collector to be much easier to tackle once I started utilizing the teleporters around the arena’s perimeter. Take a few shots, lure him towards you, hop into a portal and poof you’re behind him clear on the other side of the arena.
…you were supposed to slime tether the stone angels to the gate?!
I just wrangled one and slammed it into the stone portion above it and it smashed it in one hit..
Played on Experienced, btw.
You wanna talk about press release FAIL?!? How about the fact that there are SEVERAL official Atari videos that DON’T appear on the Atari Press site!

So I say, MAJOR PRESS FAIL!!! It’s like once June rolled around, they gave up on properly releasing the videos.
