thanks to the anniversary both gb1 and 2 have been on AMC a Hell of a lot. ‘Bout damn time.
I ran projection at a screening here in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the historic Wealthy Theatre last week. Let me tell you as a fan of Ghostbusters since it first came out, it was such a great time! I’ll bet quite a few of the regulars on here have had the GB big-screen experience a few times but I have not seen it in a theater with an audience since it was first released. We had a large, enthusiastic crowd. It was great to remember all the classic lines, hear all the laughs and applause. There’s something really great about a shared experience like that.
Just a head’s up for people who may wnat to attend this.
First I will be there on Tuesday, possibly in GB flight suit. Still up in the air.
