Little Big Planet’s Ghostbusters DLC will have stickers, as revealed by Media Molecule, which will out along with the previously revealed costumes, this Thursday (so the July 18th release date in Japan is in fact global.)
Media Molecule also posted a nice shot of the costumes! Thanks to Grim for the heads up.

what about the uk. i bet we dont get this. what is it with ghostbusters/sony and stuff in the uk. we dont get any home stuff for the ps3, get stiffed on the xbox 360 version until november, looks like we wont get the LBP stuff as its only U.S and japan. all i can think is that with only the ps3 version available here in the uk sony dont have to lift a finger promoting the game as its the only version (apart from ps2) you can get over here untikl november. sony i have money to give to you, release this stuff i you can have all the money you want.
It’s coming out in Japan and in NA, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t come out in the UK. Let’s wait until Friday to start filing any complaints.
I love the costumes one day get.
I don’t even understand what these are supposed to be. These aren’t real, physical dolls? They’re virutal?
They’re the characters in the game – players get to personalize them. And the game makers are always putting out new levels, costumes, costume pieces, and stickers (which you can use when making new levels of your own.) I’m sure there are real-world Sackboy’s for sale out there somewhere, but no, those ones you’re looking at are in game.
A game called Sack Boy?
I’d buy that.
No, the game is Little Big Planet. The character is Sackboy. Made of sackcloth, eh wot?
Yeah you can use the stickers to make your own Ghostbuster themed levels to share with other players. Can’t wait until someone makes a nice Firehouse themed level.
Wish these game with a new game mechanic, kind of like the Metal Gear Solid pack did. Added a new “paint gun” with that pack. So it would be interesting to see if they did something here too but I think they would have mentioned it already.
Finally! I’ve been putting off LittleBigPlanet for a while now, and they’ve had DLC for everything from Metal gear Solid to Universal’s Monsters. Now I can have my Sack Boy (sounds awkward) running around dressed as Stay Puft! Awesome! Now I just have to get my level-building skills in order…
we should all make our own levels and see whos is the best
Found this neat little video of a level somone has aparently created for little big planet : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-LlYvnyUlg
